Theatre History and Literature is a four-course sequence that examines works of dramatic literature in their historical context. Theatre History and Literature IV focuses on contemporary and post-modern theatre.

Final Project
For my final project, I studied the contemporary play 1536 by Ava Pickett. I came across this play on a London study abroad trip, where my class watched a performance during the original run at the Almeida Theatre. It quickly became one of my favorite pieces of theatre I have seen, and plan to continue studying it closely through the Loyola theatre major capstone Directing course.
